Windows Server 2022 the next release in Microsoft Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC), which will be generally available later this calendar year. It builds on Windows Server 2019, Microsoft fastest adopted Windows Server ever. This release includes advanced multi-layer security, hybrid capabilities with Azure, and a flexible platform to modernize applications with containers.

Windows 11 focuses on a new user interface, a new Windows Store, and improvements to performance. The OS now features an overhauled design language, something consumers wanting from the next generation of Windows. These include a new centre-aligned Taskbar and Start button.
